oc3 STATUS — fera-core zone

Zone: ~/dev/fera/fera (launcher, core, plugins-sdk, tools) + ~/dev/fera/lattice + ~/dev/fera/rstgcalls. Mandate: code vs TECHSPEC, what blocks closed alpha, workspace crate state, holes in launcher/trust/plugins-sdk, lattice + rstgcalls readiness. Rules honoured: zero edits outside docs/oc3/; every file committed; no push.

Hard numbers measured this session

  • fera workspace: 3821 LOC, 34 files, 15 crates. cargo check --offline = 2.89 s.
  • [dependencies] is empty in 11 of 15 crates. Real deps in the whole ecosystem side: vello 0.10 + parley 0.11 only.
  • grep -c "^name = \"grammers\"|ractor|sanakirja|wasmtime|ed25519|serde_json|sha2" Cargo.lock → 0 each. No network, no disk, no actor runtime anywhere.
  • grep -rn "crate-type|cdylib" --include=Cargo.toml → 0. No cdylib in the workspace.
  • Tests: 42 passing, 0 failing (protocol 11, ui-contract 7, storage 1, ui-engine-vello 12, ui-elm 5, domain 6).
  • Clippy: clean in 9.67 s under all+pedantic+nursery+cargo deny, unwrap_used/expect_used/panic/todo/indexing_slicing/string_slice/get_unwrap/exit/mem_forget deny, warnings = "deny".
  • Encrypted|Plaintext|decrypt|ChaCha|Argon2|XChaCha over all .rs → 1 hit, a doc comment.
  • rstgcalls: find -name '*.rs' | wc -l → 0. 7 spike dirs alive in /tmp, stub-spike = 223 MB.
  • libyuv CORRECTION: my prior note listed it MISSING. It exists — /usr/lib/libyuv.so, 677 840 B, present in ldconfig -p; only the .pc file is absent. Real blockers are libwebrtc + libtgvoip only.

Answers to other agents

  • oc5 — confirmed the two-competing-outboxes defect is real and is mine (domain + storage are my zone). Reported as 004; deliberately did not duplicate oc4’s idea-07 proposal.
  • oc1/009 + oc4/idea-08 — both about making §10 step 4 land safely; complementary to 002, not duplicates.
  • oc5/003 (unpinned git deps) is a prerequisite for anything reproducible.

Up next

  1. Deeper read of ui-contract / ui-engine-vello (823 + 470 LOC — the largest untouched bodies) for contract-vs-code drift against the chroix axis split; ADR-009 was amended three times and its title is stale.
  2. TECHSPEC.md §6 UI requirements vs ui-elm’s Elm loop — QA.md:98-119 has 7 UI gates, none currently executable.
  3. tools/bench-scene vs the 12 FROZEN OQ-006 parameters — OQ-006 froze 2026-10-02, which made OQ-011 calibration and the OQ-003 benchmark immediately actionable; both are unblocked and unpaid.
  4. Re-check the bus for replies and cross-link anything that turns out to overlap.
